Plain bearings • High-speed headstocks Screw valves

For the correct lubrication of screw valves we recommend the use of EP
consistent greases with or without solid additives, capable of withstanding
the operating temperature of the valve and which are compatible with the
fluid pumped through the same (water, acids, alkalis, oils...).
These valves usually include a small dispenser with one or more nozzles
with which to provide the lubricant. They are designed to minimise friction,
facilitate the opening and closing operation, prevent wear and provide
       protection against corrosion.
       RECOMMENDATIONS
In accordance with the operating conditions and the fluid pumped through
the valve, OLIPES recommends the use of the following greases:

             Standard conditions
             MAXIGRAS 46
Multi-purpose EP grease. Contains solid additives (MoS ). Low friction coefficient. Recommended
                                                 2
for the lubrication of screws in standard conditions.
             NLGI 2* DIN KPF2K-20 ISO-L-XBCEB-2 -20ºC to +120ºC (+140ºC)
Multi-purpose use with high loads in standard conditions (up to 120º C).

             High temperatures - High loads
             MAXIGRAS COMPLEX M
EP Complex Grease with solid additives (graphite and MoS ) and high-viscosity base oil.
                                                    2
             AGMA Type CG-1/CG-2 NLGI 2 DIN KPF2P-20 ISO-L-XBEHB-2 V (cSt at 40ºC) > 375 -20ºC to +160ºC (+180ºC)
Excellent adherence, suitable for all types of valve. Prevents problems of corrosion due to vibration
             and withstands high operating temperatures.

High temperatures - High loads - Presence of water and /
             or water vapour
             MAXIGRAS 102

             EP Calcium Sulfonate Complex Grease.
             NLGI 2 DIN KP2R-30 ISO-L-XCFIB-2 -30ºC to +180ºC
Specifically designed for screw valves operating in conditions of high temperatures, vibration,
moisture and aggressive environments. Prevents the valve from seizing due to its excellent
             protection against corrosion.

             Extreme temperatures - Laminar lubrication
             MAXIGRAS ANTISEIZE
Copper paste for the provision of excellent adherence and resistance to abrasion. Recommended
for use as an assembly lubricant for threaded joints and sliding surfaces of all kinds. Effectively
combats the wear of contact elements and the seizure of metallic surfaces, including at high
temperatures and in corrosive environments. Its extremely low friction coefficient ensures the simple
             disassembly of the lubricated parts.
             -10ºC to +1100ºC **

               * Available in NLGI consistencies 2 and 3.
** Maximum operating temperature in dry lubrication conditions (solid additive)
                                                                                                            27
